AOT supplies a wide range of oils, fats, proteins, and functional raw materials for food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and dietary supplements—both organic and conventional. All products are sustainably produced, strictly controlled, and suitable for bulk production as well as small pilot batches.

We offer plant-based proteins, oils, fats, waxes, and flours for clean-label products, vegan formulations, and functional foods. Our raw materials meet the requirements of natural cosmetics, e.g., cold-pressed almond oil, shea butter, beeswax, butters, waxes, and antioxidants.

Many raw materials are COSMOS, NATRUE, Kosher, or organic certified. Our company is also certified according to IFS Food and ISO 22000:2018.

We use our network and experience to fulfill individual customer requests. Upon request, we source raw materials that are not listed and offer services such as oil blends, oil stabilization, or macerates.

No, our portfolio is aimed at companies that use raw materials for further processing, filling, or product development. Direct purchases for end consumers are not possible.

AOT is both. We purchase raw materials in large quantities, fill them according to customer requirements, and produce many products together with our long-standing partners. On-site, we process raw materials, filter, winterize, macerate, and more.

Each batch undergoes comprehensive testing: chemical analyses, microbiological tests, and stability checks ensure the highest quality. All raw materials are batch-traceable. Our processes comply with IFS Food and ISO 22000:2018 standards. Sustainability and ethical conduct are central to our work: we operate according to our Code of Conduct, use CO₂-neutral logistics, recyclable packaging, and prefer sustainable raw material sources.

We offer different qualities: cold-pressed oils (mechanically obtained), CO₂-extracted oils, and refined oils. Some oils are also available in winterized quality. For questions or sample requests, please contact our sales team.

Our oils, fats, waxes, and antioxidants are suitable for moisturizers, regeneration & anti-aging, massage products, shampoos & conditioners, creams, lotions, scrubs, makeup, sun protection, as well as natural baby and sensitive care.

Our organic proteins and functional raw materials are suitable for baked goods, plant-based meat and cheese alternatives, spreads, protein bars, or extrusion. They are sustainably produced, organically certified, and offer high functionality and nutrient density.

When AOT was founded, the original name idea was Allgäu Organic Trading. In 2003, we started as a trading company in the Allgäu region. Today, we operate worldwide, supply both organic food ingredients and cosmetic raw materials, and have become more of a producer than a pure trader. The name has been adapted several times, but our values and the belief that nature provides everything people need have remained the same. Under the well-known abbreviation “AOT,” we ultimately chose the company name AOT GmbH—true to the motto: “Why make it complicated when it can be simple?”
