The cold pressed light yellow Macadamia Nut Oil, organic has an intense nutty scent. It has a high content of oleic acid and is characterized by its exceptionally high content of palmitoleic acid. Our Macadamia Nut Oil is ORGANIC, COSMOS and KOSHER certified as well as NATRUE conform. It can be stored for at least 15 months.

The fatty acid spectrum of Macadamia Nut Oil is characterized by the rare palmitoleic acid in addition to the oleic acid. This combination ensures that the nourishing organic Macadamia Nut Oil can be easily applied without leaving a greasy film on the skin. It also strengthens the skin barrier and is considered very skin tolerable. In terms of composition it resembles the human sebum and thus supports the effect of biomimetic cosmetics.
Organic Macadamia Nut Oil is particularly suitable for the care of sensitive, irritated and dry skin. It is ideal for high-quality hand care products, which are in high demand due to the hygiene measures during the pandemic: rough and chapped hands become soft and supple again with hand creams or hand masks containing organic Macadamia Nut Oil.
In body care, Macadamia Nut Oil can be used to prevent stretch marks or for scar treatment. In addition, the oil is used in hair care for color protection of dyed hair.

Our Fair-For-Life-certified cultivation partner offers agricultural training for the small farmers as well as support in the medical field and is involved in schools and  waste disposal projects. This strengthens the local infrastructure so that the smallholders and their families do not have to migrate to the slums in Nairobi.
