Sunflowerprotein Heliaflor® 45, organic

Product-Description

Heliaflor®45 is a high quality organic sunflower protein, which is made from 100% peeled sunflower seeds. Our Heliaflor® 45 is organic, Kosher and EcoVeg certified and can be stored for at least 18 months.
The organic sunflower seeds are partially deoiled by CO2 extraction. The raw protein obtained is then finely ground under exclusion of oxygen using cryonert® technology (a special temperature-controlled process that is gentle on the product).
The entire production takes place in Germany.
It has a beige colour and a more intense taste than Heliaflor®55, which is why it is generally suitable for spicy and darker coloured products.

Focus on ingredients

Because of the gentle manufacturing process Heliaflor® is rich in valuable plant protein. It is the native form of protein. All sunflower proteins contain all eight essential amino acids, especially sulfurous amino acids as methionine, which can be used for enhancement of legumes, which are low in theses amino acids. Vice versa legumes add value to sunflower proteins because of their high content of essential amino acid lysine.

Application food supplements

Heliaflor®45 has a higher residual fat content, yet it has a considerable water-binding capacity: 100 g bind at least 160 g water.
