The yellow to greenish Avocado Oil, organic is a rich oil with the characteristic scent of avocados. It is extracted from the whole avocado fruit. In the cold pressed as well as in the refined oil, the content of oleic acid is very high. Our Avocado Oil is ORGANIC, COSMOS and KOSHER certified, as well as NATRUE conform. It can be stored for at least 18 months. We offer Avocado oil, organic in cold pressed and refined quality. Our winterized quality is clear even at low temperatures.

Avocado oil is particularly characterized by the high content of secondary plant substances or unsaponifiable components. Among them are phytosterols such as beta sitosterol, which are similar to human cholesterol in the skin and thus biomimetically strengthen the natural skin barrier. In combination with the restructuring palmitoleic acid and phospholipids such as lecithin, this enables active ingredients to penetrate the skin more effectively: They form a microemulsion with the skin's moisture. As an antioxidant in avocado oil, alpha-tocopherol also strengthens the skin.

Avocado oil is a rich, nourishing oil. Thanks to its composition of oleic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid and the rare palmitoleic acid, it is absorbed deep into the skin and has a regenerating effect. Secondary plant substances help the skin retain moisture.

Avocado oil is therefore ideal for face and body care of rough, dry and very dry skin that needs both lipids and moisture. Sensitive skin conditions with impaired barrier function also benefit from the properties of avocado oil.

In emulsions or oil mixtures, avocado oil can improve the penetration of active ingredients into the skin as a carrier oil and is therefore a popular oil in active ingredient cosmetics.

In hair care products such as conditioners, hair oils and masks, the nourishing avocado oil ensures shiny, well-groomed hair.

Avocado oil and macadamia nut oil can be used together in a care product for skin with barrier disorders.

The avocado trees Persea americana miller belong to the laurel family. They originally come from Central America, e.g. from Mexico or Peru. In the meantime, the trees are cultivated in many tropical and subtropical regions of the world. They grow up to 15m high. The fruits of the avocado tree can only be harvested after seven years.
With our organic avocado oil, we support a small-scale cultivation project with over 12,000 farmers in Kenya. Thanks to the ideal climate, the avocado trees, which grow in mixed cultures, do not need to be irrigated. Our local partner promotes controlled organic cultivation in Kenya and is committed to a school program for local children.
