Aloe vera oil macerate, organic

Product-Description of Aloe vera oil macerate, organic

With a process developed by us, we make the oil-soluble active ingredients of Aloe Vera available in refined sunflower oil. The aloe vera oil macerate is almost clear and odourless. Our aloe vera macerate is BIO and COSMOS certified as well as NATRUE compliant. It can be stored for at least 18 months.

Two certificates from the Dermatest research institute confirm the very good tolerance and the significant increase in skin moisture.

Focus on ingredients of Aloe vera oil macerate, organic

Aloe vera belongs to the aloe plant genus of the asphodel family. It is classified as a succulent plant: It stores large amounts of moisture and nutrients in its lanceolate leaves. Aloe vera is cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions of the world and has long been considered a traditional medicinal plant. The gel contained in the leaves is protected against sun, wind and dryness by a firm shell. It contains mono- and polysaccharides as well as minerals, amino acids and other secondary plant substances.
The focus of our aloe vera oil macerate is on the oil-soluble active ingredients of aloe vera. For example, minerals from the aloe vera gel can be found in the oil: Calcium helps to bind moisture in the skin and can promote regenerative capacity. The linoleic acid contained in sunflower oil additionally strengthens the skin barrier. Vitamin E has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Application cosmetics of Aloe vera oil macerate, organic

Our aloe vera oil macerate combines the cosmetic properties of aloe vera and sunflower oil. The base oil with a high content of linoleic acid ensures that the macerate feels pleasantly light on the skin and is quickly absorbed. Thus, the aloe vera oil macerate is suitable for all skin conditions, especially for irritated, sensitive, dehydrated, dry and mature skin as well as combination skin.
The oily aloe vera macerate helps to bind moisture in the skin and promotes elasticity. It supports regeneration, e.g. after sunbathing, and has a calming effect on irritated or reddened skin. The skin's resistance is thus strengthened.
The Aloe Vera Oil Macerate is ideal for use with after-sun or sun products. It can be used as a body oil, but also in more complex formulations such as moisturising facial fluids or regenerating serums and masks for demanding skin. In hair care, the light aloe vera oil macerate provides more shine and suppleness.

Proven efficacy
Our analyses show that mineral substances such as calcium are transferred into the sunflower oil by the extraction method we have developed.
In a clinical application study under dermatological control of the research institute Dermatest, the very good tolerance of the Aloe Vera Oil Macerate was proven.
In addition, the study proves that the skin moisture is significantly increased when using the Aloe Vera Oil Macerate (measurement by corneometer and assessment by users).
We will be happy to send you the detailed results and the certificates on request.

Selected organic projects

We source the aloe vera gel for our oily macerate from Mexico. In the north-east of the Latin American country, our supplier has been cultivating the plants organically for over 30 years. No pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilisers are used. The compost is produced by the farmers themselves, and the sheep grazing on the aloe vera fields also contribute to this. The sophisticated and economical irrigation system is powered by solar energy.
After harvesting, the leaves are filleted and the aloe vera gel is cut into cubes. We produce our aloe vera oil macerate by extracting the fresh pieces of aloe vera gel in refined organic sunflower oil. The complex manufacturing process was developed by us in order to dissolve as many of the active ingredients from the aloe vera gel as possible in the oil. Of course, the bitter substance aloin is not contained in it. Finally, the aloe vera oil macerate is filtered.

Sustainability plays a crucial role for AOT. From the very beginning, we have focused on organic farming. It protects the climate, ensures soil fertility and protects the environment. Synthetic fertilisers and pesticides are not used.
