Healthy break breakfast for 2400 school starters

Under the patronage of District Administrator Indra Baier-Müller and Lord Mayor Thomas Kiechle, 2300 first graders at 47 elementary schools in the Upper Allgäu and Kempten will receive the "Allgäuer Bio-Brotzeitdose" filled with delicious organic products for their start of school.
To make the start of school nicer for the children and to avoid unnecessary waste, the Abfallzweckverband ZAK gives every school starter a sturdy snack box. For the thirteenth time, the Bio-Ring Allgäu e. V. organizes that these tins are filled with healthy, regional organic food.
It takes place in cooperation with the ZAK-Zweckverband Abfallwirtschaft Kempten, which donates the lunch box. The lunch is donated by Allgäu organic gardeners, farmers, bakeries and natural food producers. Furthermore, the campaign is supported by numerous companies including us and natural food stores/reform houses.
The purpose is:
- Waste should be avoided
- Breakfast should be healthy, taste good and be easy to obtain
- the children should learn how food is produced and also appreciate it
